 OUR TASK:
The Electronics Subteam is responsible for all electrical functions on the robot and the control board. Common tasks include wiring the electronics board, wiring the driver station, soldering sensors, and many other miscellaneous around the work space that would require electrical knowledge. Working with other sub teams is vital to the smooth operation of the Electronics Subteam, more specifically, Programming, Drive Train, and Structures. The Electronics Subteam must carefully plan the dimensions of boards, supply the various parts with electrical power, and wire the data cables called PWM cables. If something isn't in its proper place, the robot won't run, or more severely, parts could be damaged. Therefore, it is vital that everything is checked and double checked. Regular maintenance keeps the electronics tight in place and running smoothly. If something was to malfunction during a competition or practice, electrical would be responsible for diagnosing and repairing any electrical problems that may present themselves.
