Home > Sponsors Sponsors A major part of FIRST are the sponsorship opportunities. The purpose of getting sponsors goes beyond just getting money from some big corporation. It was intended to get experienced engineers to work with the students to help teach them what it is like to be an engineer. Sponsors come in many shapes and sizes; from large companies like The Gleason Works, to our local Presbyterian Church which is so graciously hosting us this year.
